I've installed the Simco gauge cluster and it is fairly easy. Took about 1 hour. I would highly suggest the Simco unit. High quality and much cheaper (almost $200 cheaper) than the autometer.

Heres a picture of mine:

Here's a couple of links for you also, hope this helps.

I know of those gauges also, but they won't fit on a 04 GT I am told...

The simco website says that 1999-2004 is the same cluster. The only clusters that are different are:

Mustang V6
2001 Bullitt
2003-2004 Mach 1

there are known issues with installing the autometer lunar guage cluster on the 03 and 04 gts- autometer will tell you. it is hit or miss, some people have problems some don't. I took a chance and do not have any problems.

they look nice but they are not any supperior quality of guage so I could not rationize the expense over an overlay.

i would have bought them in a heartbeat if they were real gauges and not glorified idiot lights like the factory stuff.

I had the overlay type and the lighting did not match my autometer lunar boost and fuel pressure guages in my dash pod, so that is why I did it, they do look awesome, no regrets

yeah if ran lunar gauges boost and fuel I would buy it just because I am ocd about matching stuff up. I have speedhut overlays so I will proably buy thier gauges when i get my KB.

I sure wish they would offer a real lunar gauge cluster though. even If I had to swap out senders and it was like $600 or something. I would love to have real oil pressure gauges and stuff like that without adding extra gauges making the interior look like an airplane cockpit.

I would love to get them. But they are just as inaccurate as stock gauge. For $400, i want gauge that read real oil pressure...

Okay after getting the no answer form Autometer being a bull head I had to find out for myself. It took a hole 30 minutes to make the change over.

So all in all the autometer lunar gauge cluster that autometer say's does not work for 03 or 04 GT's is not true. They line up perfect and the wiring does not change as they told me it would have to. Love the way the look, now I have to get the pillar gauges ASAP since Autometer has stoped producing the lunar series.

I love the lunar cluster..cause you can match any other additional gauges with it

got FP and boost on the pillar (not a good shot here)

but we added Oil Pressure and Voltmeter into the console this year when I ditched my stock CD player

Yes they are stopping, or they have already stoped all production of the Lunar seires gauges including the instrument cluster. So get them while you can.
