all i need to know is where should i tie into the switched ignition source, and then to the wire that turns the instrument cluster lights on. i have the A/F gauge and the boost gauge. i know how to wire the A/F but just wanted your opinions on where to tie into. i really dont want a lot of wires hanging out of my fuse box.

I spliced into the brownish colored wire that connects to the headlight knob. Its a switched source if i remember correctly.

For the lighting I tapped into the blue/white wire off fuse #37 I believe.I got ignition power from a red wire behind the driver side kick panel.I think there are several.Just use a voltmeter and find one thats hot only when the ignition is on.You can ground them on the screws at the fuse box.

ok now i have a question. at the fuse box did you tap into the wires that are in the 3 harnesses that you unplug or to the wires directly behind the fuse box itself. and for the A/F gauge do i tap into the wire at the ECM or at one of the 3 harnesses before the ecm?

i'm guessing it is at the ecm b/c i cant find the right colored wired at the harnesses. so how do i remove the ecm to get to these wires. it looks like there is a plastic clip holding it in

I was able to tap into the wire right above the fuse.It was real easy to get to on the right side of the box.To get to the wires to the ecm you just loosen up the screw that holds it in place. Then unplug it and pry the four metal tabs back to remove the plastic cover.
