MAC CAI question

I am considering buying a MAC CAI kit. 2 Questions. Does it come with a filter if so is it a k&n filter? And, does anyone know where the cheapest place to buy one of these is?

Yes it comes with a filter, not necissarily k&n...but better than the stock one you have now and ebay is the cheapest...i got mine for 70$ or something

Don't get it because it sucks. All rusty on the inside. I had one, hated it and traded it. Moroso kit only $80.

there is better ways to spend your money, don't expect a cheap cai to do much for you. You're better off with the stock airfilter setup and spending your $100 elsewhere.

i have the mac cai...the fellas are right ...it does rust a little inside. i wish i would have gone with the bbk (aluminum) ....as far as the filter goe well K&N no longer has a patent on thier filters so now everyone makes them and they are all about the same quality....

Don't waste your money..your better off just replacing the filter in your stock one. If anything buy the Moroso kit, it's made out of plastic which is much less conductive to heat than chrome or aluminum.

Build your own. I did, it cost me about $30 and it works better than any of those you can buy. I'll post pics and instructions if you're interested.
