Has anyone had trouble with the installation of the 2.5 MAC catback?? It was easy to install however on the driver side the pipe is hitting the control arm. Any suggestions.
Thanks

good luck this system is very difficult to line up. try droping the crome extensions at the rear hagers this will help then loosen everything back up and then readjust, (it will fit) took me a long time to get it right. I spent 787.00 for everything p-headers ,h-pipe,and cat back exhaust from Mac and was very dissapointed with the difficulty in installing the cat back exhaust part of it, dont give up it will fit but its very close to everything. They should put line up marks on these systems but they dont, and the instructions they send are worthless, but they do sound awesome.

I bought a set of mac's. loved the sound. They fit ok, seemed my one rear side either rubbed my tire/control arm, or it was dang close. I loved the sound though. But Ill stick to flowmaster next time. Ive had more exhaust systems then alot of people haha

The question should be "Who hasn't had any trouble installing a MAC cat-back?" It took me and a buddy nearly 2 hours to line the damn thing up . It sounds awesome, especially with the ProChamber. But they need to do some serious redesigning.

MAC catback

-so, would you guys go for the flowmaster cat-back over the Mac system for fit? Is the American Thunder setup really loud at cruise 2000ish rpm?
