It will fit the stock headers perfectly fine. I am 3000 percent sure.

You have factory "shorty" headers, and yes the Mac will fit just fine...it may be a B getting the stuff apart....soem torchs and lots of WD40 will help...

be prepared for the header bolts, thats where the torch will help bigtime....the smog tube that goes to the cats can be a mother to....be prepared and get 8" or so of hi-temp rubber hose....this way you can hacksaw off the tube, in a clear area, and just scab it back together with the hose...that small factory clamp that holds the tube on, right at the cats, crimps the tube bigtime, making it a mother to remove...thus the hacksaw to cure that...

you don't need an adaptor, all you need to do is take out the old and put in the new. a mac o/r h pipe was my second mod (gears being the first) and it bolted right up. don't get me wrong it's not a 5 minute install. it takes more time getting the old one off than putting the new one on. and it will help to have a second set of hands to put the new one in. once you get it bolted to the headers the back end is much easier.
you'll love the new sound, and will mostly likley get a cat back soon after.

good luck

no adapter, the stock "headers" are called the manifold for some FORD reason... they are "shorty headers" equivelant, but called different stuff... will fit fine...

I put the MAC O/R H-pipe on my car too. Like RIO5.0 said .... get ready with the torches to heat those stock manifold bolts up ... it IS the longest part of the install. Also, look at the "H" part of the pipe. Mine was so POORLY cut that instead of the 2 1/2" diameter cross-over - I had more like a 1" cross-over. Soooo - I had to spend lots o'time using an air grinder and bored it out to the diameter of the cross-over tube. You will really like the sound and the performance mods and it WILL fit the stock headers and exhaust. Use that hi-temp rubber hose instead of trying to make the smog pump tube fit in the H-pipe line. Donkey punch is right too ... you'll get a cat-back soon - or just wait, get the cat-back and do the exhaust project just once! Good luck!

LOL- i had to sand my mid pipe too....

fits great though, no gaskets needed, use RTV just in case you dont bolt it up perfectly

it took me forever to cut through the air pmps tube .... i didn't have a small saw/grinder anything, just my hand and an old metal saw

uhhh..... use plenty of wd-40/liquid wrench
