Mac h-pipe, shortys, Mac catback (2 1/2) How does it sound?

Anyone running this setup? How does it sound? I also have ported heads so i have a deaper sounding engine. Are you guys impressed? Im thinking about going with this setup

Yeah, it will sound good. I always got complements on mine. However I've since switched to MAC LT's.

i have a flowmaster catback right now... im going to put that h pipe on and see if i like it better, but i only have 2 inch tubes coming out of the mufflers...

i have equal length shorties ( not sure what ones) mac pro chamber h pipe, and a mac exhaust, i like it, it is loud

hey good site thank you. Still debating on keeping my flowmaster cat back with the mac h-pipe, i guess i will know when i get it installed! i just hate the 2 inch pipes out the back, i wish i had like 2 1/2 to 3 inch chromes i want something that you can feel going through your body, a smooth sound not too raspy

I had an '88 with MAC from the engine back, and i loved it. It was 2 1/2. Sounds kinda common durring normal driving, but screams at WOT. Very "classic 5.0" IMO.

I agree, i hate that tin can sound too.... My flowmaster american thunder 2 1/2's sound really good, the macs sound really good too. the coating is crap though....
