Im looking to buy Mac white face guages. And wonder if someone has any pics of them installed. And did you like the finished look when they were installed. Or do they just look cheesy???

what happened. was the factory lighting no bright enough to illuminate them?
thats the whole reason why i want the mac. becuase i dont want the glowing guages you have to wire up i think they look cheesy.

I've heard they've got problems with having darks spots at night. I know they were really bad with the old Fox gauges. I wasn't aware that they were equally as bad with the SN95 ones too.

I have mac white face guages, and yes at night they do have a few dim spots but not black so you cant see them, great price and i think they look better than most of the ones that you stick of the stock guages, i have been happy with them especially for 30 bucks, but thats just my two cents

Here's some old school BBK (similiar to the Macs). Love them in the day and they are pretty good at night - they match the dash colors very well. I didn't remove any of the extra glue that was under the stock gauges, otherwise, they would look more evenly lit at night. Removing the needles and placing them back in their original positions was a pita though, so knowing that I would go with the type that have the slits in them and are the luminescent type.

Mac Gauges

I have MAC's and I love 'em. Trust me, it's ALL in the installation. You must get all traces of the old gauges off (I used a single edged razor blade). I took great care and mine look PERFECT.At night they look just like the factory-lighting is perfectly even. I was going to go with NR but read some horror stories about how they treated customers and decided to go MAC. If you take your time and pay attention to details, you'll love the results.

I like mine! The A/C cover goes well with the white face gauges also.

Now for the big question...does anyone make guage faces that uses the Mach-1 numbers?
