How HP can a stock Mach 1 block take?

The weak link in the mach motor is just like the 2v motor- the connecting rods and pistons- with the stock units you are limited to <450rwhp. The actual block will support double that easy. The crank on manual machs is forged and will support about as much as the block.

Automatic is cast, but it won't matter anyway.

just wanted to how strong the block was, i am pairing the stock forged crank with forged H beams an 03/04 cobra pistons.

The only way most people are going to hurt a modular block is if a rod punches a hole in it on its way out or a piston disintegrates.

this is a side project next to my 5.4 2v build but maybe run at most 500rwhp when ever i finish it
