Can you make a Mach 1 chin spoiler fit a 96-98? I thought that maybe if it was flexible that you could fit it onto that body style. Anyone seen or tried this yet??

So it was the actual Mach 1 chin spoiler? If so, I think I would like to try it.
How do you think it would look ???

Are we all talking about the same chin spoiler that all the 99+ guys were buying for like 60 something dollars? Ive seen 94-98 models but they are way more expensive.

I think it would look better on your car than it would on almost any other car. If the mach 1 spoiler that all the 99+ guys are getting truely will fit our cars, I'd jump all over it even though it wouldnt match my color combo, just cause its so badass looking.

That one looks nice, but i think the first guy was talking about the actual Mach 1 chin spoiler that only costs like 65 bucks. Its made for 99+ but the question is if it can be modified to work for a 94-98. I too (obviously) would like to find out, cause I wouldnt spend $165 for the CDC one, but id prolly drop $65 or whatever the Mach 1 spoiler costs.

Yeah I talked to CDC about the earlier models, they are so expensive though. Dealer cost, $148.

I think I heard somewhere people were able to fit the 99+ one on the earlier year.

I sell tons of the 99+ ones, but I'm not gunna pay that ridiculous price for the CDC 96-98 ones.

First person to email me sales@mustangtuning.com gets a free 99+ mach 1 chin spoiler. You can try to install it on your 96-98 and let me know how it comes out. I'm almost sure I've heard of people fitting it on the earlier cars, but I just want to make sure before I go saying so on the website.

Worst case scenario I guess is you aren't able to fit it on your car, but I'll send you the item for free and shipped free so no risk to you.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing, but instead for an 87-93 mustang.

sorry, my bad. But I was reading through a Mustangs Unlimited magazine and they said that the 03-04 m1 chin spoiler would fit all models 94-04.

Not sure it can be modified for a Fox...but if Chris sent someone a free one to see if it could be modified wouldn't hurt to see if he would do the same for you. Even though it was 2 years ago.
