Is it possible to wire in the amps and mount the rack they sit on in a 90 mustang gt. I have upgraded all of the speakers and have an aftermarket radio (kenwood) in it now but I really like the look of the amp set up. Just wondering if it is at all possible. Thanks

Anything is possible.... but to answer your question. I'm not telling you facts but just by thinking about i would think you'd have to have the whole system. You'd have to gut all the radio harnesses out of the newer stang and put it in your fox. If your just doing it for looks Then why don't you just buy a amp and mount in in your hatch/trunk? You can use it to power your speakers or install a sub. Our stangs already have a amp(In the dash) so really you wouldnt need it. That would be alot of work for just a look. Plus a aftermarket amp would look much cooler.

Oh i'm not trying to discourage you... if you want to do it, do it. It would be different but alot of work. It would be easier to buy a R.F amp(For instance) and make a custom rack. Look at Masonozz's website. He has a pretty sweet looking setup. Good luck

Edit: Here is his system.....

It would be hard to retrofit an amp deck designed for a coupe in a hatchback.

Mach 1000 does sound pretty good for an OEM system. Back when it was new, it was voted best OEM stereo in a vehicle under $26K or around that range.

I special ordered my 02 GT with the Mach 1000, it was a kick ass System for a Factory set up. As far is fitting it into a Fox Body it would probably be easier and cheaper to install something aftermarket.
