Mach 1000 No Power

I just bought a 2003 Mustang with the Mach 1000 Audio System. The system seems to be dead no power from the headunit and no Dome lights or Visor Lights? Could this all be related? Thank you in advance

Thanks for the reply. when i open the door it makes a quick ding sound. When i put on the headlights the radio backlight does not even turn on.

Seems I have two seperate problems.

The light issue might be a ground issue.

Tried the radio in another car and still no power just cd changer cycling thru

I put a for sport trac radio in for now and the sound has no bass and the rear mach 1000 setup does not turn on.

Ford says minimum if 700 bucks for repaired mach 1000 radio thats in my car.

I am gonna try aftermarket has anyone doen that?

The adapters on ebay only have 2 jacks with a rca jack on one end is that the correct adapter? I only ask because there are three jacks in back of the radio?

put in an aftermarket radio with the proper adapter and wow what difference. The system really thumps for a factory system. It wont beat a high end aftermarket setup but sounds good for my needs.

I still need to tweak it to get rid of distortion as high volumes its fun watching the convertible roof bounce up and down.
