Mach 460 and cd-rw discs

Can the mach 460 play CD-RW discs? I tried some I just made in my car and I got a cd error..

Mine does.. The Mach 460 is made by sony. I guess depends on the year of your car.

Mine plays them fine. Try playing them on a different CD player and see if they work there . . . otherwise sounds like maybe you burnt them in the wrong format?

as long as there not mp3 cds. they have to be wave

Yeah, must have been the wrong format. I used a burning program I never tried before and didn't see an option to set the format.

I just burned a couple cd's with Nero in the music format, i'm gonna try those out on the way to work in a bit.

Nero-burned CD-R's work fine in my '01 GT, though I sometimes get a little skipping on the last track... think I tried to squeeze a bit too much on one disk.

Well these new ones that I recorded with Nero in music format didn't work either so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. It says 'Bad Disc' on the head unit. The discs aren't bad, they work on my computer and home stereo.

Maybe the CD-RW discs don't work, just the CD-R's...?
