Ok so I have been looking to order the Mach1 Grill Delete for my 03 GT. I like the look better then the honeycomb grill. Anyways, I noticed that it seems incomplete when you order it as an aftermarket item. What I think is missing is the black plastic cover that goes just behind the pony and convers basically the front frame. I went to a local dealership and they are telling me that the piece I am looking for comes when you order most of the front of the car from them not as an individual piece.

If anyone knows what I am referrering to, can you tell me where I can purchase this piece or order the entire thing without any missing pieces.

If you dont know what I am referrering to, I will try to show this pic in just a few.

If you look at this picture you will see the arrow that points to the part I am referrering to? Any suggestions would be helpfull?

Is that what comes in the Steeda Kit? Exactly what is shown in this pic?

I'd rather buy it for $50 than $90

Has anyone heard of a kit for the hood scoop, i hate the honeycomb look and dont want the billet grill insert. I was wondering if anyone has seen a kit for the hood scoop?

One possible issue with the aforementioned cover on the grille delete kit: the insert piece is notched offset from center (to the left I believe) to fit around the mounting bracket for the pony. Unfortunately for me, the notch was on the opposite side it needed to be on. So I had to use a utility knife to cut the trim piece to fit. It cut easily and the new notch fits under the the radiator cover, so you can't see it at all. Looks great, much better than the honeycomb grille. Just a heads up.

I got mine from Steeda. I believe it uses Ford OEM parts. Instally is about 30 minutes in the driveway. The bolts on the bottom of the grill are NOT easy to get to. Don't be afraid to bend the living hell out of your bumper...it will not crack. Looks great! Good luck!
