But there are reasons for the mph difference. To note the car did run better mph on radials, but the 12.5 pass was into a headwind. Car usually trapped mid 106s on slicks (never had the 1.6 60's of that headwind day though).
I have seen a lot of cars trap higher traps on radials, and seen lots trap higher on slicks. There are tons of variables that create reasons this happens...
This guy is changing more than traction, he is changing gearing. If it was just a traction thing, then I could see you saying hed run mid 12s @ 108 or so. But the fact his gearing is much better now, I would say he gains a few mph, no matter how well he hooks...
