87 GT AOD all stock so in December I did a MAF swap on the car with a A9P PCM from EBay, the wiring harness from LMR, SVE cold air intake, and a MSF assemble from a mid 90's Thunderbird with a 4.6 that fit in line with the air intake and plugged into the harness perfectly BUT not sure if its the right sensor for my car and may be part of the problem, I followed the instructions and carefully repined the harness double check everything, the car started up first thing and seemed to run great at first but after a few minutes at started to idle erratically surging of 900 - 400 RPM's and when driving it will sometimes die at stoplights but will easily refire however usually do the erratic idle and will need to give it a bit of throttle to keep it running and when its doing all of this it will be kinda doggy at first but after 2000 - 2500 RPM's it will smooth out and run great and all that being said it only does this sometimes but when its running good its great the power seems up from the Speed Density setup so I'm looking for help to solve this I have done a fair amount of research and the stalling my have to do with a missing single from the VSS and I found a great article online about it and read through it and it sounded like some of the issues I'm having but I didn't save it and now I can't find it (it wasn't on this site) and when I first pulled the codes at had a code 29 so I bought a new one but haven't installed it yet cause I also bought a new speedo gear cause I'm going to change the differential from 2.73's to 3.73's and the shop will change it out for me at the same time they do the gears
so I'm looking for help to solve this the codes as of today were engine running 42, 92, 34 and key on engine off 34, 81, 95 I had a code with the old setup that had to do with the EGR system but can't remember the exact code so I'm thinking of getting a new larger throttle body and spacer along with a GT40 intake and I clean everything up at that time but I don't think the drivability issues are caused by the EGR not working properly but correct me if I'm wrong
