I'm looking at a Magnaflow cat back system for my 03 GT, looking for some feedback if anyone has the system and how they like the sound!

I don't have it, but I am planning on getting the magnaflow catback pretty soon. You can get the Magnaflow or Magnapack for $299 on mach1registry.com, pretty sweet deal.

Do a search and you should find the thread pretty easily

I have it and I absolutely love it. I had Flowmasters on my last 4 Mustangs and was really tired of the drone. Probably an age thing. The Magnaflows have a slight drone, but it isn't that bad. Has a deep rumble and at WOT it really wakes up the neighbors.
I was really impressed with the fit. The only thing I didn't like was the way the tailpipes are mounted. Bolts kept coming loose which was nothing loc-tight didn't take care of. I you want it loud, go with the Magapaks. I strongly recommend Magnaflow.

Ok here we go - Magnaflows rock, they have a low roar which starts around 1800 rpm and continues to the line with a rising scream. The sound is incomparable, not too loud not too soft. HOWEVER- the install can be annoying. I put my car on a lift and dropped the rear axle by undoing the shocks, which made taking out the pipe easier. That was no problem. My caution is in installing the tips. They will come loose and rattle like nobody's business, and you will flip out. If you can, weld the tips to the hangar bracket, or do a GREAT job the first time. But its a great buy, I got mine from RPMoutlet.com

Mine are great

I have the Magnaflow mufflers, not the full system, but I really like mine. I feel some more punch, get a little better gas mileage, and the sound is really nice. Just cruising, they are almost quieter than stock with my setup. But if you step on it, they ROAR with the purr of the Mustang behind it. Hard to beat, in my opinion!

Magnapacks are the loud mufflers made by magnaflow, I think they look like a slp muffler(resonator shaped) and I dont believe they are street legal. Regular magnaflow catback is quieter than magnapacks and street legal. I have the regular ones on my car and they sound great, no drone except slightly at 70-75mph, mean sounding at wot. I didnt go with the magnapacks because I may go with an off road mid pipe and didnt want it to be too loud a combination.

I can't find the Magnaflow exhausts on mach1registry.com. 299 sounds like a very good deal, are u sure this is the right website?

I love this!!! You tell someone to do a search at mach1registry.com.....Apparently you didn't do one here...There are several threads here about getting a Magnaflow catback, right from Partshopper (helps Stangnet!).....Right from Partshoppers Magnaflow catback page "We will MEET or BEAT anyone's to the Door Price! Call US! " Man.....I must post this once a week....You can buy from who you want, but mine came in about 3-4 days, and I paid less from Partshopper than a guy here was trying to sell me his used one!
Good luck guys...

Another vote for the magnaflow catback. Sounds good with the stock h pipe... Sounds even better with magnaflow's catted x pipe. If you really wanna go loud, get magnapacks!

I went with the MagnaPacks for more sound, I'm not doing a full exhaust. They sound great.....If I had been doing a mid-pipe I may have went with the flows.

And YES packs are street legal

http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15705 (You have to call them, their site still shows full price)

I really don't care where anyone buys their stuff from.... I have nothing to do with the above link. I was just trying to help a guy out. Buy your exhaust wherever you please.

I've had mine a few months, the mufflers still have a mirror finish to them, the tailpipes are fine, just put some blue loctite on them when you install and you'll be all set.

I have Magnaflow Magnapacks and Magnaflow Catted X, I love the sound. Bassy at low speeds, and won't attract too much attention from the police but at WOT it absolutely screams . Pretty different from the tradition H pipe and Flowmaster sound, every other mustang I hear has flowmasters, I wanted to be different so I went with Magnaflow (but nowadays seems they're gettin more and more popular). High quality products with great fit and finish. I'm very pleased with mine. I bought mine off of Partshopper.com about 2 years ago.
