I have a 67 stang that needs lots of work. but I ran into someone parting out a 69 stang. I saw one drive by the other day it seems reall close to the look of my 67. I was wondering are alot of the interior parts interchangeable? Like the seats, dash, door panel......? Or is it a waste of time to go pick up parts from it?

nah, its all differnt. The size of the 67-68s and the 69-70s is the main problem. Seats will fit, but will not look right (highbacks), dash, doorpanels, rear seat, are all differnt.

You could make some of it work, but the door panels are completely different. The 67 dash is welded in while the 69 dash is bolted in.

The seats aren't a bad swap. The highbacks feel more sporty and are cheaper than some aftermarkets...... I liked them in a 67 coupe I used to have.

you know I totally was thinking 2 diff things. The dude has a 69 he is parting. I have a 67 and was looking at a 68 not a 69 this morning. You guys are right a 69 looks totally diff. Its a shame too, this dude is selling it for cheap because of a wrecked front end. But I dont have room for another project. 2 5.0s and a 67 are enuff.

You'd be better off asking "what's the same?"
