What do I use to clean the MAF on my 94GT? How often do I replace the O2 sensors? Is it ok/preferable to just replace the front sensors or should I replace them all? Should I just bypass the rears? Anything else. The car just clicked over 80k miles.

Our cars are OBD1, they only have 1 pair of O2 sensors. Only the 96+ mustangs have 4 O2 sensors in them. And yes, if they're original, it wouldn't hurt to change them.
I use electircal contact cleaner to clean my MAF with a cue tip (gently). While you're at it, clean your IAT (intake air temp sensor, located on the intake tube between the throttle body and the MAF), it only takes a couple minutes to do. Also, when you do this, it is not a bad idea to unhook the battery to reset the computer so it can relearn with the fresh vlaues from the new O2's and the dirtless sensors.
Have you done all the other regular maintenance stuff, such as PCV valve, fuel filter, air filter, cap/rotor, plugs and wires?

A little additional info can be found here. I very much agree with our Tall Friend who posted above - use electrical contact cleaner and address the items he mentioned. :nice:

I also like to index the IAT upon reinstallation.

Good luck.

Yup. The idle does have a certain "roughness" to it. Most people probably wouldn't notice, I do. (We all do, when its our own!) I get a little pre-ignition or lean "rattle" (I can't really tell which) when the engine is pulling hard. I'll do everything listed here. Had it planned for this weekend, anyway. Prolly do a home made CAI, also. Since I'll have the MAF off. Thanks for all the help!!!! I'll be posting here with more questions.
