I put on a new lid and wing but where do I find the wires to hook it up so the trunk pop button in my glove box works? It really bites having to turn the entire car off and get out to open it...

Only thing I can see without tearing some things apart is the wire runs into the lid on the drivers side and the wire then runs down the drivers side to the front of the car. One wire going into the trunk acuator, color is purple with a yellow stripe. Two wires on the back of the switch are the purple/yellow stripe and a white wire w/purple stripe. My guess is the white wire runs to a 12v source since all that trunk button is is a momentary contact switch. Purple w/yellow stripe runs from switch to acuator.

mine doesnt work either
what do i have to do to fix it?

You need to see if its getting power first turn the ingnition on and with a volt meter tap into the lines in the trunk to see if you getting a signal, then we can go from there.

I only have a popper so ive been messing with it for a week or so now.

You should be able to see the wires running out of the new decklid.

If not, you can remove the trunk trim and near the top boot area and you should see them. Once you locate them, test to make sure you have the right wires and you can begin reinstalling them.

Edit: I just took some photos of my trunk to give you an idea where to look. Give me a second and I will post them up for you. :nice:

Finding your trunk wiring....!

OK, here is where you should look first for the wires. This bundle should power both the license plate lights and your 'trunk popper'

Hope that helps you a little! :D
