It has been squeaking like crazy lately so I attempted to remove it carefully yesterday. I'm in Florida, and it isn't cold but that thing was SO briddle. it cracked everytime I moved it! I knew where the clips and fasteners are and still it basically deteriorated. This sucks cause I don't feel like dropping $150 on a piece of plastic!

I swear the exact same thing happened to mine like a week ago. I just walked out to my car and it was cracked. But I don't have 150 to spend on the worthless piece of plastic right not so it will have to wait. I was pissed off though. Ford...

Yep--Mine is actually broke on the driver side edge and is missing about a 1 inch piece. I can only imagine how much worse it'll get when I attempt to yank it out. Sucks that it costs so much, but its not like you can go purchase a used one from a junk yard, as they'll crack just as soon

What the hell! That is EXACTLY where mine is cracked. Where it meets with the quarter panel and the hood ... Like something just took a bite out of it.

This is funny my windshield washer passenger sprayer wasn't working. I took it to the local shop. They called up saying they broke the cowl when they tried to remove it by accident. So they replaced it with a new one for free. I guess I got lucky lol.
