So, after polishing a spare set of headlights for my 04 today, I somehow got motivated to do some work on my wife's fox. So I posted a thread a while back about front and rear bumper covers, and all the side ground effect pieces I bought.
Today I changed the rear bumper cover, the pieces in front of it, and the front bumper cover and the pieces behind it. While I was changing the front stuff, my wife was detailing the engine bay.
Tomorrow brings the replacement of the pieces between the wheels, and putting the stock hood back on, along with a wax job. I don't know why I bought the stupid hood on there now.

Anyway, here's some before pics, with the old and new stuff.

Here it is next to my 04, I don't have many pics off it because it looked so bad.

I bought all that stuff for 150$. My buddy bought the door off that same car for his LX, so he's not using the door GT door trim so I'm trading him a set of poly motor mounts for it. The trim on the other side is a birthday present for my wife from her mom and dad. So all the trim will be new too.

I will post pics of my progress tomorrow.

So now I have pics of it with the front and rear covers swapped, along with the pieces in front of the front wheels and behind the rear wheels. I got up this morning and washed it, and waxed it (that helped tremendously!). So that's where these pics come in.

I still need to replace the ground effects between the wheels, put my stock hood back on. The bad thing is that the clearcoat is peeling off the fenders and hood, so there's not much I can do to make that look any better.
I'm just tired of it looking like a piece of junk, even though its really not. We never have any problems with it, it runs real good, and the interior is nice, it just started looking ratty.

After wash and a quickie wax:

I'd say that's a nice improvement, and definitely a step in the right direction.

With the rest of the ground effects:

I'm going to wait a little bit on the hood, I either need to figure out how to fix my stock one (it's warped) or get another one.

I may restore the headlights on it today too.

Anyone know of anything good for gettting the adhesive off the door trim from where I pulled the black tape off? Goo Gone doesn't work. I guess I shouldn't worry about it and just wait until we replace them.

Thanks man! You have no idea how long it's been since someone said that about that car. I should have took more before pics, it was terrible, 306notchback can vouch for how bad it was.

Well it looks like you have been putting your work in! That car looks like a great foundation, and is only going to get better! It looks 100x better with what you have done already, keep up the good work!

Your New Edge looks awesome too!

They hired a kid at work with a clean red 91 GT and he liked my hood, and I was tired of it so we traded.
Finally! It's all one color again!
