Should I throw a manifold spacer on my stock manifold? I haven't heard much feedback on them, and am wondering if it's worth the hassel.
If so, will a stock hood with a stock manifold provide enough clearence for a 1 inch spacer, or just a 1/2 inch? I don't want to take off the hood blanket.
Any feedback would be greatly appriciated. :flag:

Simulate the thickness adder with a piece of wood or something similar and place it on top of the upper intake. Use a flashlight and have someone help you (ie. one of you lower the hood while the other tries to look for interference. STOP LOWERING THE HOOD IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY RESISTANCE!!!

Good luck.

When I get home I'll try and find something soft to put on there like a piece of clay or play dough or something.

Is the spacer good for a couple hp or tq on a stock manifold setup? Or not worth the time?
