Where can I get a maunual valve body for an AOD? This may be a dumb question, but you gotta learn somehow: Do AOD have valve bodies, if so, what is the advantage of a new valve body, are their differences in manual valve bodies and stock ones? I am about to get into my tranny a little and I would like to know if I should go ahead and invest in a manual valve body. What is a good one to get and where? Thanks.

id get one from http://www.lentechautomatics.com/ they have one that can be used as a manual or as an auto. they also have a race one thats full manual. the manual will shift harder then stock and will let you decide what rpm to shift at

+1 for lentech. I have the strip terminator valve body. It allegedly gives your auto greater torque capacity as well. shift and chirping and automatic is fun .

B&M makes a small size shifter called the hammer. When I was running an auto I kept the stock one for the sleeper look of it...PB

I had an Art Carr Manual/Auto valve body that was way nice before I converted to T-5. Everytime that damn thing shifted it hit so hard I thought I was being rear ended by a semi. Ahh it's a lovely thing chirping the tires in 3rd with an auto.
