Here's the deal. I took your guys advice and unplugged my MAP sensor to see if that was the cause of my erratic idle speed. So, I unplugged it, fired it up, and it is smooth as can be. Now, my question is, am I going to do any damage driving around with my MAP sensor unplugged until I can afford to grab a new one? I'd really like to know if I can just leave it unplugged or if I have to plug it back in. What will happen if I do keep it unplugged and drive around? Thank you guys very much for your help, it's really gone a long ways.

Nevermind, I got it. Turns out the car wont really go when this is unplugged. Sorry for taking the 45 seconds of your life guys, I'm an idiot. Good news is that once I plugged my MAP sensor back in it seems to idle fine. Thanks for helping me get this far, sorry for the dumb post, I should have clued into that earlier.

Sorry I read slow and it took longer than 45 seconds. I'll just send you a bill for the difference.

How exactly do you not have a MAP sensor? Doesn't make much sense to me.

I think he is mistaken, I think he was thinking of the MAF sensor which is on the 91-93 cars.

Well, once I unplugged it idle perfectly. Just smooth as glass. I thought that I would take it for a little spin around the block. Once I was on the road I put it in first and let the clutch to get her going. Once the clutch was all the way out it started violently jerking around. It was almost as if I was riding the clutch in first while getting going. I don't really know how to explain it, just very violent shaking basically. So I pulled over, plugged the sensor back in and away she went. I am still having some problems, but I found a new MAP sensor in a junkyard for $20. Im gonna replace it in a few days and see where that goes.
