Map snsor question after mass air conversion

I did a mass air conversion along with everything else I just completed on this car. It is an 88 gt with a 93 gt computer and a c&l mass air meter. The question I have is do I hook up my map sensor to the intake or let it read outside air. I remember the instructions telling me something about that map sensor but I cannot find them. Right now I have it not hooked up. I also have a bad cold start issue. The timing is on
I have good fuel. Ignition is working fine. but it needs alot of help to get it to idle. Once it warms up it will start and idle just fine.

On a converted car, the MAP sensor transitions to a BAP sensor, and you now leave the sensor vented to atmosphere.

JT is correct as always.

Having your BAP hooked up as a MAP is probably causing your problem...

Inever hooked it up. I just wanted to be sure.
