I bought a used maplight awhile back cuz my GT had its original one stolen. my question is- how does it hook up to the wires? it seems that the plug from the harness was broken off, and the light I bought isnt in the best of shape either
does anybody have pics or can pull their light off and maybe take a pic or 2? any help will be appreicated. thanks!!!!!!

I've never taken mine off. I'll check back tomorrow and if you don't get an answer by then I'll pull mine and take a look at it.

If you have a swivel map light like me, there are no wires. The screws pass through contact plates and they touch another set of plates on your roof. If you just screw it back in it should work, nothing to hook up.

mine swivels, but I do have a wire sticking out with what looks like a male connector.

Weird. I just had mine out last week to replace the headliner. The map and dome lights are both just contacts, no wires.
