March are $70 cheaper than the Steeda set at Mustang Tuning. What is the difference between them? Who has had experience with March?

March is a piggyback type which means the crank pulley bolts to your existing pulling creating a lot of problems with mis-alignment and vibration. The Steeda actually replaces the entire crank pulley with theirs. I have never heard anyone say they've had problems with Steeda.

Piggybacks are a bad idea, spend the money and get the Steeda's you won't regret it.

What would you spend $200 on seeing what I already have? Oh wait, nevermind, you don't have any mods

Well its just that ive heard that on the PI cars, ford already put improved pullies on, and that putting aftermarket ones on yield very small gains. This might not be true though Plus, i've always worried about the pullies slowing down my alt. and water pump, which would hurt battery power and could cause the engine to overheat.

I've got the Steeda pulleys and i like them.. i'd go with Steeda, because if you were to want a timing adjuster later then you wouldnt be able to use ur crank pulley from the March set..

Woah buddy dont be so hostile, just because i dont have any mods doesnt mean i dont know anything about them. It means i dont have any money for mods. I was just trying to say that there might be SOMETHING out there for the money that would be better. Geez, did someone piss in your corn flakes this morning?

And we simply asked what you would suggest that would be better for under 200 bucks, no hostility here.

Hee, hee. Not trying to be hostile What would you suggest for $200? Pretty please? With sugar on top?

No, seriously if no one has any other suggestions I am going to get pulleys. Steeda I guess since I can't really get a straight answer on the March ones.

If I were you, seeing as how you have a bassani x pipe, I would save the 200 and wait until you have enough to purchase and install the bassani mid lengths. If I am not mistaken the mid lengths will work with your x pipe....? long tubes are a much better option than pullies. But you have to save for a little bit

Aren't they like $600 or something and then more $$$ to install. I'd have to wait forever I'm need instant gratification -- I hate to wait! But thanks for the input . . .

You could save it and get some upgraded brake rotors....or maybe some springs. With all those power mods you might wanna work on braking and handling a little. It might cost more than 200 but it shouldve take TOO long should it? Although if your like me, you dont make much money and it does take too long lol. So i dunno, i've just heard from a few people that pullies dont do much for the 99-04 GTs.

Hmmm $200
Subframes $60 ebay shipped
P&P upper $40 ebay shipped
Plus if you cann't install you have money to have it done. Or save and get a nitrous kit shop around and you might find one for 200. Plus as someone who has had too many set of UD's I'll never use them again. Not any problems just too old not to have AC work unless I'm taching 2k plus, low voltage, and etc.
