Marlboro Hot Laps Pacific Raceways

I just got an invite in the mail from Marlboro to attend an event at the end of this month at Pacific Raceways called Marlboro Hot Laps. Get to ride shotgun in a Panoz GTS (powered by Ford Mod V8) on the road course and a new Mustang coupe on a drift course. Free food and drink, and swag.

Sadly, you can't go unless you're invited, however, if you know anybody who gets coupons or mailings from Marlboro, they probably got one of these invitations and would be able to let you go as their guest.

So anyone else going?

as of this morning there are still several days left open with multiple time slots. sounds like a fun time and if you've never been in a drift car here's your chance. I still think it's the ballet of racecar driving (and ballet is still gay) but what the hell, I'll give it a chance. if you have one or know someone who has an invite get signed up, it's still open!
