No, they will not work. The housings and electronics are married pairs. The fox III (non Cobra) electronics need a 55 mm housing, just as our F2 electronics need a 70 mm housing.

Agreed.

P.S. With tuning it will work perfectly (and has been done) but untuned I'd stick with the parts designed.

You see threads similar to this one from time to time

As JT pointed out ...That is how I've always seen it

I wonder

Why would one want to do this

I mean what would be gained

Also ... Has anybody done it ... Successfully that is

I run into it every month or so - people buy MAFs for their 94/95 with Foxbody calibrations or C&Ls with Foxbody sensors in 'em. I'll tune it in (I like working with factory electronics) and they always work great.

I forgot about the C&L method

I've never owned one therefore had no experience with one

Thanks for helping me think outside of my small and narrow box

It would work "ok" for down low but I would honestly just buy or troll up a stock sensor (I bet a lot of guys on here have some). The MAF is the brains behind the operation, you want it as accurate as possible so that you aren't over/under fueling the motor. This is one of those things you want to do right.

I just gave my last two spares away or I would send you one I've got.
