when switching over to mass air from speed density witch i done. i know theres a map or bap on the back of the firewall. i have converted to mass air. do u plug the vacuum line to the bap the rubber hose part, and leave the bap part open so it reads outside air. what i did is put a bolt in the vacuum line and left the map or bap open seems to run better like that i have more control over the idle. during start up when cold it loops from 1000 rpms to 500 then back up and down til its warm then its fine. not sure if it cause i switch over to mass air or what but always had this issue. all my sensors are new and have a chip to keep it from dying from cold starts and that helps. also why does turning the iac valve upside down run better then having it the right way still dont know why by turning it upside down would change things
