Im thinking on going forced induction. Havn't really made up my mind yet on what to use.

I have a bullitt intake and DD Bullitt rims to put on.

NE weather is taking a toll on my chrome Cobra R rims. So while the car is in storage i'll keep them on till the weather breaks next year and then put on the Bullitts.

I already changed out my shocks and struts. I might change out the Eibach springs for H&R. Add a bumpsteer kit and poly all bushings up front.

Seeing my birthday is in Jan, I might buy some new upper & lower control arms.

Other than that, i'm waiting for the ground to freeze to put up my portable garage. Hopefully the snow stays away long enough.

Custom paint is still in the back of my mind ........................

Hey Jim-
Sorry to see that rot problem there. Its actually quite common to have a rot spot there due to leaky master cylinders on these cars. The brake fluid eats the paint, and well the rest is history. I have a welder at my place if you need anything welded. I am not great welder, but Chris (the guy with the '05 you met) is damn good, so I'm sure he'll weld anything you need. I can even come pick the car up and trailer it back to our place. Let me know if i can help ya!

My winter project:

Sell the car
Sell the bike

Get a new bike
Get something that can drive in the snow

I'm saying we can push the car up on the trailer, but then i thought why don't we just bring the welder over when you are ready. Chris will do it for a case of Heineken, I'm sure. Good Luck, and let me know.

Hey whats up fella's, i havent actually been in this section before. But i saw winter projects and thought i'd share. I am tearing down a stock complete302 i bought for $150. Then its off to the machine shop to get cleaned up, bored and all that good stuff. Since im at school i have only been able to tear into it for about 2 hours. I never get to go home. .
It will be by summers end: 331(Probe Pistons, Forged I-beams, Cast crank), Pro Comp heads, Comp Cams XE274HR, Performer RPM intake. The rest will have to wait till next winter. But its a start and sort of a budget build. I am aiming for the 350 rwhp mark. heres what i have done so far. Sorry its a camera phone.

UPDATES.....

Just keeping the thread alive....anyone have any new updates for thier winter projects? As for me, i just finished paying off my car trailer, and now i'm getting ready to order my AFRs. I figure i order those first, then the rest is all little $2-300 items....basically get over the financial hump early on in the winter! Post your progress!

Yeah I don't even know if I'm selling the car anymore.

Might put a few grand into it, but haven't decided.

I need to:

1. Get it painted
2. Get new tires (so damn expensive)
3. Install the PI intake
4. Install my 4.10s that have been in the box for 2 years

or instead of #3, drop another, newer motor in it, possibly from an 01+ cobra if I can find one.

I wish I could work on my car over the winter. I moved to Woodstock CT and my shop is in Dudley MA or else Id just tear it apart there and walk to work every day. And unfortunately no ones willing to rent a garage I can work in or theyve all been taken, etc. Wish my house had a garage or even a driveway that wasnt a 45 degree angle.
