finally upgraded the brakes on my 67 coupe and boy was that loads of "fun". The parts install went well, everything fit great. I did the front discs and added a power booster and pedal then the fun began. Two quarts of brake fluid, one day of trying to bleed them the old fashion way,one vacuum bleeder, one more day of bleeding, resetting the combo valve at least six times and I finally have real brakes

Did you do a conversion or did you already have disc brakes? What kit was it if it was a conversion?

I did the same and love it!! Great kit , more or less easy to install, I did have to go to ace and get some hardware for the pad retainers as they weren't in my kit. BUt all around a good setup. I had to trash a mag lite to drive the bearing caps onto the rotors, worth the 20 bucks for a new flashlight

I used the MP kit too, with a power booster and my only complaint is that they feel TOO soft. I was looking for something with a little bit more feedback. I can hardly tell when I'm about to lock them up. Any ideas? (I used the whole kit, including the new pedal).

I thought the pedal on mine was just about right, without the engine running it's hard and while running it seems firmer then my 2002 truck. Maybe you stall have air in the lines?? took me two days and two quarts of fluid to get all the air out.

Could be, I thought I'd bled them enough but I suppose it could be trapped somewhere. One more thing to add to the Mustang To Do list...
