I am learning that I should have got the 03 MM engine instead of the 05 Avi. I have changed the oil pan and p/u, timing cover, upper intake, flywheel to 6bolt and water pump "avi sticks way out in 05" also the exhauast manifolds. It is sitting in the car now and will be running Monday.

I tried to get as much info as possible on the net before the swap. So if you need a cheap engine go with the MM it is a V vin Cobra and the Avi is an H vin. The 05 has alot of improvements to the heads and block but it is a much faster swap with MM. I could of got the MM with 9k miles for 1750.00 but went with the Avi for 1950.00 with 7k miles. If you are doing it yourself no problem, if you are paying a mech you need to tack on 300.00 for his time on the oil pan and timing cover and water pump.

Just thought I would put that out there and save others around 500.00

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
