Max HP for 01 GT with Vortech V2-SQ on 94 octane

I would like to know the limitations of my supercharger. Assuming money was no object how much HP would I get from my Vortech V2-SQ? I was told I could crank the boost to a max of 18psi but would that mean I need to run 100octane? Would I get more HP for each psi of boost if I got a stroked forged motor and added long tube headers etc...?

I am looking into all my options here.. I am on the fence about selling this car to buy a 04 Cobra, or continue spending money on my GT to make it fast.

My goal is 550-600rwhp that is streetable on 94 octane.

I think your goal is very doable! Do a search for white99gt and gi joe 97/02 both of them have reached that level with the s/sq trim. Also I am sure there are many others as well.

how much hp you get depends alot on your supporting mods. white99gt is making 553rwhp with 14psi non intercooled. Cobra Killer was making 600rwhp (i think) with 16psi non intercooled. both had a full exhaust, intake manifold, P&P heads, cams...

i've heard that 16psi is the max you should spin the V2-SQ. after that, it creates too much heat to be effective.
