Well, I got my 3.73's installed on Wednesday and I ordered a Bamachips custom tune to take into account my mods and the 3.73's. For some reason, I think it's mainly my paranoia, but I'm not sure if the speedo is reading right. When I was coming home from work I was going 70mph(according to my speedo) and was still getting passed. Maybe people were in a hurry. But - would someone with an automatic and with 3.73's be able to tell me what RPM you hit 45mph and 60mph at? Maybe I'm just retarded and it is right - as I was following behind a few people that I "thought" were doing the speed limit. PLEASE HELP ME!

Two easy choices:

(1) set cruise exactly on 60. When you pass a mile marker start a timer. When you go 5 miles, stop it. If your speedo is dead on, as you stop it it will read 5 minutes exactly. If it is more than 5 minutes, you are going less than 60.

(2) borrow someone's GPS.

I don't like using other cars as I have seen too many that are off by more than 10%. My wife's Honda accord was off by 10% until we went up enough on tire size to correct for it. My mother's Chrysler 5th avenue was off almost 20%. She thought everyone on the interstates were speed demons. They thought she was a slow-poke. :)
