Define what "meanest" means to you.

and idle qaulity. if you are looking for a cam to give you a little "RUMBLE" @ idle that is one thing but more goes into it. The e, tsf1 and most of your other sticks will give you nice rumble and be streetable. there are some really "mean" cams that would be dog on the street. what heads you going to run and what rpm range you looking at.

I've had an E-cam in the past, it is very mild IMO. You need to look at your goals before choosing a cam. If your goal is just noise then get the one with the largest lobes that wont destroy your valves and springs.

i know you probably want a mean sounding cam but i think money would be well spent other places, i worked with a guy who put a comp 292 in his stock 302 it sounded wicked but it was a total dog in all RPM ranges. I agree with above statement and say that you need to decide what your goals are, you may even lose power putting in a "mean" cam. the stock 5.0 bump stick is sufficient enough until you get into heads/intake ect. hope this helps. I run a comp 270xe i like it streetable but decent power

There is no such thing as a "meanest" cam, just one that is the correct one for the application. Anything else is a compromise.

A cam with a lot of duration and overlap in an otherwise stock 5.0 would be a compromise.

The one on the top looks pretty mean. I'd get that one.

Does anyone make a 12" cowl?

Not trying to bash you man, but a can performs a pretty important role, there's a lot more to it than how it sounds. You're much better off getting a cam that's right for your app than just picking one with a lot of chop

Not going to lie, when I was younger ALL my fox's had a nice lope to them... My current one sports stock heads... Stock idle... Cobra intake and full exhaust (with CATS!) and its my FAVORITE of all the foxes i had and its hands down the slowest.. I have so much fun driving it.. I can just start it, and go.. no bucking, no tuning.. LOVE it..
