Several have raced the GTO. GTO wins, has more horesepower, more refined interior. Mustang loses that race, has less horsepower (stock). Mustang is gorgeous, has plenty of power and is truly a bad azz car. GTO is fast but fugly.

I feed my snake gto's every chance I get

I don't like that car or most of its owners for some reason I can not quite put my finger on. The 04's are no competition and the 05 ain't much better.

I agree with Doc....

The run in I had with an 05 Gt at the gas station was no problem....he was impressed by the GTO exhaust.

I drove an 05 GTO last weekend 400horse 6 speed. The car is a beast, it looks boring but I would put my money on the GTO. Its heavier, but its got plenty of torque to make up for it. THey run low 13's stock an can dip into the 12's with stickies.

Good observation! Because I an a moderator for Stangnet which means I will be on here a lot so I'm Doc GTO, nice to meet ya!

We are also "car" guys, not just GTO or GT guys. If it has an internal combustion engine I like it, well, it has to be fast though . . .

i'm even worse, i drive a chevy truck for crying out loud. but my first car was a mustang and i'll always love them so i hang out here until i can get me one. actually i'll probably still be here after i get one. like most everybody here i just love cool cars no matter what kinda badge they wear.
