Meguiars Leather cleane ruined my seats

I tested a small area. then did the hole drivers seat the dye just keep on coming off. Meguiars is giving me the run around. any one else have issues with their
Gold Class leather cleaner? I have had several experts look at my seat they have told me it was a factory dye job and the leather was coated.
yet the color came off both the leather and vinyl portions .
Thanks for your input.

this is constructive ?

It happened I have pictures rags with red dye all over them.
Sent the samples to meaguiares for testing. "Their RD department is on vacation for the rest of the week" I have e mails from Meguiares.
There is no Bull. here.
I am just asking If anyone else has had this happen to them.
And a Heads Up when using a leather cleaner, any leather cleaner.

I would think you would stop wiping after one sign of red dye on the rag.

I saw the dye run. I patted with a cloth. i thought that I need to delude it off the seat so I took some damp cloths to the seat. after a while I realized that letting it air dry would be a better approach. While this was going on I was on the Phone with Meguiars. i asked them for advise. the rep. took my number said he would call back and then did not.

I had the same problem with my red seats as well. It wasn't noticeable until the day after when I drove to work. I had red dye on the back of my pants. It only happened after using the cream, the wipes had no effect on the dye.

I wanted to Thank those of you who answered the question and had constructive input.
Those of you who stayed on topic. I did find others who too had the same issue on a Corvette forum and a Cady forum.
After contacting Meguiars, by phone and numerous emails, sending in the product for lab testing( not sure they did it) getting statements from auto leather experts. Meguiars decided to cover the cost of re-dying my drivers seat. This while never admitting that there was anything wrong with their product.
FYI, Ford wanted $1,200 to replace,The dealer used Leather shop wanted $550 to replace. I had the seat re- dyed for $200. Once meguairs realized that I was taking the least expensive why out Meguiars stepped up. Now of course my out of pocket cost was a lot more then Just re-dying the seat still
I have to say Thanks to Meguiars for doing the "Right Thing"

Ps The Check is not in Hand yet. I'll post again to let you all know if it arrives or not.

Check arrived

Meguiars made good on the check to reimburse the cost of re dying the drivers
seat.

Real glad you posted this up, thanks!

I have the product but I've never used it on my Mustang as I don't like the way the cream gets in the perforations.
