I am starting to feel the same way. I put that damn steeda quadrant, adjustable cable and firewall adjuster on my hatchback 3 weeks ago when I put my new clutch in and I still have not got that POS to work correctly. I have been fighting this forever now. I had it up on my lift twice yesterday trying to get my clutch adjustments just right. Anytime where I get the clutch at the perfect engagement point I have too much slack in the pedal. So I then take the slack out of the pedal and now my adjustments are all screwed up again. It just bugs the hell out of me, I can't find the perfect median between where I want the clutch to engage and not have any slack in the pedal. I wish i never bought this $130 waste of money. I have thought about putting the stock one back on but I don't feel like taking the front seat out again and breaking out the pry bar to wedge it back into place agian.
Well that is my rant. I am just glad my other car is an automatic. Even though it is screwed up it is still less of a hassel to deal with.
it just doesn't look right ...

Anyway, just got back from a party. It was pretty cool. But now i'm very tired from basically 3 straight nights of partying.

In the last 3 days I've pulled my trans out 3 times because my f-ing clutch fork kept having to much play......now it's fine. Now I've broke my 4th clutch cable within 1 year!!!

so white hows it goin with your car? you get that seal fixed yet? sucks man, but i got some good news. im goin to pm you!

Are you using an adjustable clutch cable or the stock replacement?

I have broke 2 stock cables which are supposed to be stronger than any aftermarket and I have broke 2 after market cables as well.......and I have the aluminum quadrant as well as the firewall adjuster.

I think we're due for another Hooters cruise sometime very soon. Actually, yes, VERY soon, cause I gotta go over to Tampa soon. Wednesday would work, or June 1st-3rd. That's about it for me, though. I still have yet to hear anything about the next AutoX, though.
im actually working with MMORL(Modern Mustangs of Orlando) about a hooters cruise down here! the way its looking right now, its gonna be around the 14th or 21st of June(sorry erich) but thats the soonest i can do anything because of work! ill keep you guys updated!Originally posted by 1Bad89Coupe

still here guys. even if my plans on getting the stang have been pushed back 3 freaking years. (college tuition is killing me.)
but in the mean time i plan on fixing up ol betsy. yup. the 4 banger Ford Ranger (AKA Mazda B2300) no. it won't be rice. it's going to look like a good ol AMERICAN pickup. (just needs to be upgraded to a 4.0 V6.
but back to white. any idea what is wrong with it yet. i thought i was having a bad week when my oil filter broke in half. took my 5 1/2 hours to get that off.
good luck man. btw. when's the next meet at hooters?

well, to answer for white who is busy explaining to me where the "flea markey" is...a guy that pulled over and helped us out alittle said it looked like the tail seal on the tranny. i couldnt really tell, there was tranny fluid everywhere...so thats all we know so far.
