CAR FIXED

Intake replaced under the silent recall, $500 bill paid by FORD. Car runs stronger now, and sounds better too!!

Looks to be safe for the upcoming events. If you guys want to see some of the fastest/cleanest mustangs this weekend, there is a ALL mustang car show at the world golf village(St AUG.) on SAT from 10-4. Its only like an 1hr drive from melbourne. goto www.mmjax.com come support the MMJAX chapter. We are looking for about 200 cars to be there.

Or spend the night and autoX on SUN. ;)

Well y'all, I think I'm gonna lay Project SVO to rest. After thinking about it, I decided that perhaps it's not the best idea for me to do right now, and just mod my car. What do y'all, my trusted Melb. Area friends, think of that? Possible list of mods for my car:
0/R H-Pipes
Full Catback
3.73 Gears
Springs, Shocks, Struts
Shaker or Ram Air of some kind
Chip

On a good note, I got my hands on a Zip Zap today, plus a engine mod kit. My Yellow '99 Cobra now has a turbo'd engine running at 21,500 RPMs. :D

re price on gt

dan hes doesnt have a set price yet but i think you need to see the car im not crazy about the paint job design wise but its very clean an a strong running car :OT: i had a guy almost run me down today an asked if i need a set of the old pony wheels he said they are shine an need tires so i follow him home an guess what i now have chrome pony wheels for my black coupe any body want to take the saw blades off my hands

Jerry Stien - General AutoX stuff

I have to admit I was at the point where I felt Jerry could not contribute anything to me. WRONG!! I took him for a ride to see if he could spot any bad habits on my part. He found lots of them. I had been taking really difficult lines on Sunday Jerry noticed that right off the bat. Almost every turn resulted in a comment of how wrong the line was. He than took me for a ride in my car.....Jerry hates my car...I dont know why he just does.... maybe its the lack of power steering or the short shifter or the racing clutch or all of them together. He has a really hard time with it. He turned a much slower time than me BUT showed me a really good set of lines.

I was able to drop my times about 0.5 seconds.

Eric Kebbel- I was nice meeting you and I apologize for seeming distracted there was some poop going down that you might have or might not have been aware of.

The dude in the Red Porsche 944 Turbo protested my car (funny he was running illegal 17" rims in BP) he had the timers bump me to BP to race agaonst him and the other BP RX-7. I was pretty pissed.

Mr. Porsche is actually a National champ. He took 5th in Topeka in the SS class in his Z-06. Did you see his Porsche?? It weighed 2200 lbs and was running 18 lbs of booste on 110 octane fuel. He also had illegal 17x12 rims on it with hoosier slicks.

By every right I should have gotten my ass kicked right??

I beat him by a full second my best 33.33 to his 34.60. He was not happy. I was so confident that I had him beat that I took Jerry for a ride in the 4th heat.

During the Fun laps I was able to get down to 32.99. Mr. Porsce could only muster a 33.60.

I was really distracted keeping track of his times I really wanted to beat him.

anyway you could have him get the car to your shop on friday so i can come check it out? if not, maybe sometime on sunday:shrug:

:OT: what time are you planning on leaving to go to the track on friday eric? Andrew(mmorl founder) just got a 03 f250, so im going up early to check it out. i guess ill find you at the track:nice:

:OT: :OT: I have the tuesday off before halloween to go to the car show at andretti, so any one that is going, let me know, and we'll set it up to try and get all the cars together:nice:

howdy guys...been awhile since ive posted, and just thought i'd try and catch up alittle. car is still out of comission (for those who dont know i had some tranny probs)...but should be ready to go by the weekend. ended up i pretty much grenaded my 3550...and, for now...decided against trying to fix it. so i bought a WC-T5 off of a friend for $100 bucks, and am waiting for the parts to rebuild it (only has 2 broken keys on the 3-4 hub). but i while its apart, might as well replace everything else.

so, i figure since i cant be rippin on this T-5 down the dragstrip...maybe i could start doing some autox! i was reading about the bay bottom crawl that was down in the keys the weekend before last i think it was, and it sounded like a hell of a lot of fun. not that i would feel confident enough to run it...but, maybe with some experience and time, i might get there.

so anyway, im goin to put my front sway bar back on, throw on some new tires/rotors/pads, get the T-5 rebuilt and put in, and then maybe i can follow some of you guys out to an event.

Image Uploader

Hey guys, do any of you know of an image uploader I can use? I made a magazine advertisement for my "company" and I'd like to show it to you all. I used a picture of a 00 Cobra R that I found in the wallpaper section on here and then added a couple logo's and a slogan. It looks pretty sweet. I won't get in trouble for using that photo will I? Image Uploader?

Okay, y'all, I'm slowly comming up with my semi-official list of mods, but I have some questions, so I'll ask along the way.

Full length headers (I've heard these are better than short, true? anything else I need to know about them?)
O/R H pipes
Full catback
Cams (okay, what are they? I keep hearing about them, but no clue)
Shocks, struts, springs, C&C plates, sway bars, tire bushings (???)
Gears (3.73)
Desensecharger CAI
Shaker Hood (Not likely, but I can dream...)
Chip
King Cobra Clutch
Steeda race wing

What do y'all think?
Man, I'm gonna have to sell a lot of knives. :jester:

Long tube headers are better than shorties, you will make more power but they cost more and the installation is a lot more involved.
Cams, are your camshafts. I'm sure SHM makes a set of cams for you car but are they really worth it. My opinion, no. You would be hit hard with the labor and void your powertrain warranty for a not so significant gain. I would put that money toward getting a supercharger or your other mods.
Everything else looks good :nice:
