Well it sort of looped over itself a couple of times. Hard to explain but easy to sketch. It was a tough course to say the least. They didn't use a lot of cones. I'll see if I can post a sketch of it when I get home.

I will be up at sonics this thursday. I finally fixed my serpentine belt throwing problem so everything should be a go with my convertible. I did look at the forecast for thursday and it suppose to raining all througout that day, but who really knows with these forecasters. I don't know if everyone brings there cars up there when it rains but if it does I will bring my hatchback down instead.

My Illustration FInal

Hey everyone. I made this for my Final for my Illustration 1 class.
The assignment was to use what we had learned to create a comic book cover. Being the Spider-Man fan that I am, he is what I chose to do. I don't have illustrator or a ZIP drive at home, so I had to do all the work at the lab after class hours, which is why I only got a few hours to work on it. It could be better, but I am pleased with how it turned out. It was one of the teacher's favorites, so he saved it to show off to other classes.

What do you guys think?
And now that I've resized it to fit on here, it looks crappy...

Looks good, I'm sure it'd look better at full resolution. Illustrator is one of those programs I'd really like to be better at. (ie: Photoshop, Premier, Flash...)

And now to switch gears completely. Anybody coming to MMORL meeting at Sonics tonight? I'm still trying to decide if its worth me venturing out in the cold/dark/wet.

there are a few of us coming up tonight i talked to andrew, and him and Mike Pallone are gonna be there too. hopefully the weather is completely crappy.

Well I just got back from seeing George Carlin at the King Center. It was a great show. I'd heard of the stuff already, but he had a lot of new material, too. Very last row in the balcony, though. But oh well, I was there.

Yup, still alive. It's really not that bad up here, but it's definately colder here than FL. When I left the shop, it was -3* and that was a few hours after sundown so it's only getting colder. The sun being up for only a couple hours a day takes some getting used to, but it ain't too bad. Between using ATV's, snow mobiles, and arctic cats to get everywhere, it's actually pretty cool. Cool enough that I'm considering putting in a request to get transfered up here.

Surprisingly enough, I've seen 6-7 V8 stangs up here with owners brave enough to drive them during the winter. I think I'll stick with the 4wd the shop has loaned me.
