I'm a believer in it's not what you buy, it's what you build. I have respect for any vehicle that performs and an equal amount for a driver that can control it. I just think it's funny that he descibes himself as a daredevil because he races imports. I mean, if that's his criteria for being a daredevil, then I must be plan loony. And I'm not even talking about any motorsports. Just the other hobbies... :rolleyes:

Just giving you heck... Actually, I like the 2.3. We built a pretty potent one a while back for a mid-engine sandrail. The motor itself actual came out of my ranger when I did the 5.0 swap. After stroking it and putting a stage three head on it, I wanted it back :D . That thing just screamed up around 6-6.5K.

if it makes you feel any better i can't stand guys like that. But it can be cute at times, when they try explaining cars to me and pretty much telling me something like the louder the faster or something like ... ok, this is my favorite, the better it looks on the outside the faster it goes. i mean, it's like a little lost puppy you just feel bad for 'em.

but yeah, if he wants to go off on some ego boost and make himself masculine then let him remind himself, but just know he's just blowing out his ... umm ... hole... :p ;)

yeah ... i have actually heard that one before ... it was cute. Because i felt so bad for him. He was trying to act all smart and manly.
He talked down to me like i was supposed to be in the kitchen making him chicken pot pie.

hello peoples. just wanted to get in on this thread. i live in lake mary (not to far from orlando), and was just wondering if anyone knows of any good weekend shows or cruises or anything going on anytime soon? theres acouple little groups of people who gather here and there...but most are imports or low riders, no mustangs. :( i was thinking we should get some stanger's and go down to spring break in daytona beach? i was down there the other day and saw only 2 other mustangs besides mine, and those were completely stock. pretty saddening.

also, White93'LX2.3 was talking about Blacks Automotive Group here in Orlando. I bought my car from there acouple months ago and they are great to work with. Brian Black (owner) is a great guy, gave me a great great price...and has helped me out with alot of questions I've had. I suggest if your looking for a good v8 engined mustang you should definately take a visit to either their website (http://www.blacksautomotivegroup.com), or even better if you can get to the dealership. It's located off of US 17-92 in Casselberry, Florida...not to far past the intersection of SR 434 and 17-92. they don't really get alot of 4cyl or 6cyl mustangs in, but every once in a while they do...so still take a look. just thought i'd give you my opinion of them.

Hey Droptop, I saw your other post (in 5.0 I think) about Daytona. I'd like to get up there, but my schedule sucks. :( As far as local cruises/meets/etc., some of us get together every now and then at Hooters in Melbourne or the Auto-x's. Some of the guys go up to Bithlo a lot too for the 1/4 mile thing. The bigger meets and cruise-ins are usually advertised around here when the come up so just keep your eyes open.

LOL, Hey it was about Melbourne Area Stangs! Of course after last night, I feel like a total post wh**e. I garnished over 50 last night. Most were actually tech though... seriously. ;)

yeah me and baglock are post *****s of the melbourne area!:D :p :D i got like 30 just last night!

and droptop93, thanks for the info on Blacks. ive been wanting to go but dont even want to attempt till i have the money to start looking (which hopefully will be soon), but ive been watching their website and they have a good selection on there and i can only imagine what they actually have on the lot!
