Sounds like it may be fun, I will look into it for sure! Any idea how long the course will be?

Dan
Hood looks nice now that it is painted. :nice:

It's not exactly my cup of tea, but I'm sure your very happy with it and that is what customizing is all about! :D

Gonna try and make Hooters again tonight. I will be wearing my Honda shirt too! I still have a few left that weren't claimed at the autocross if anyone wants one. 2 M, 1 L, 3 XL, first come, first served.

Dan (baglock), any update on how your Kumho MX tires are doing? The insides of my front tires are bald and the rest is down to 2/32", so I'm looking for new front tires. I'm most concerned about how long they last. I need 15,000 out of them so that I don't need to buy any new front tires until I graduate next May.

I highly recommend the MX's for a street performance tire. They do give up a bit of dry performance for wet handling (which is superb IMO), so if wet handling isn't a concern, I'd look at the Falken Alzennas (which David97gt46 has).

At the last AX, I was .3 off of David. Given our car differences and the obvious driver skill differences, I'd say it was not my tires holding me back. I've gotten them pretty hot on a few occasions with no signs of going greasy. Further, as they break in, grip continues to improve. They're great tires. Unless I go to some Alzennas, I'll be picking up another set when the time comes.

See ya tonight everyone. It looks like I'll be there. I had my yearly physical the other day and one of the practicianers just picked up a 91 GT so I convinced him to try and come out as well.

Looking at the tread blocks on the Falken's, I think I'd be miserable on the highway if it started raining hard. With drag radials on the rear, I think two out of four poor rain tires is enough.

Did you buy yours online or find someone local to order/mount/balance them? I'd prefer the latter if someone could come reasonably close to the $108/tire online.
