Wasn't trying to be a deck there, but like Dan said, the mods have been pretty generous to us. We're just trying to keep them happy.

On a side note, what I've done in the past is just make whatever I was trying to get rid off a part of my sig.

Feb 10th will be the next round of installs for me. Hopefully my driveshaft will be in by then. Of course, knowing my luck it'll get there on Feb 11th.

Actually, since she is balls ass poor and living off of wellfair ( with her daughter and granddaughter living with her too ), she offered to just give me the money of what it's going to cost so her insurance won't go up. I don't have a problem with that, only that's not the first time she's hit someone there. I'll get the dent out as much as I can myself, and pocket what I get from her. I need every cent I can get right now.

poop

Well, I have some more bad news.
My dad, who just recently re-enlisted into the AirForce and is
currently stationed at Shaw AFB in South Carolina, will begin chemical warfare training tomorrow. He called me a few minutes ago to let me know that on the morning of Feb. 9th, he will be departing for Saudi Arabia. Destination will be Prince Sultan Air
Base in the middle of nowhere, which really says something when you realize we are talking about Saudi Arabia.

I'm not thrilled about this at all. He's been over seas many a time, but I was too young to fully grasp what was going on. He said he'd be over there for quite a few months...
He said he would be in a command center doing "something", not out dogfighting or dropping bombs like he used to in his F-16. That doesn't surprise me. I don't think he's got " the right stuff " that the AirForce requires its pilots to have, anymore. He'd just better come home breathing.

I'm sure he will be allright. There Air Force always seems to take better care of their people than the Army. I have been to two combat actions and both times the Air Force were sitting pretty. I guess that is what I get for joining the Infantry.

My wife and TJ's wife were talking about maybe trying out TGIFridays. They have outside seating and stuff. Somebody was supposed to be checking on the parking situation.

Black, I might go to the track. It all depends if I get my ignition booster befor then. That will most likely cure my little stutter prob at high RPM.Vortech is saying my plugs might be getting blown out.I think TJ is gonna gap them a tad smaller tommorow.
LOL I hate ricers! K Im leaving Mc dalnalds or how ever you spell it.Well when I start to pull away these two little punks get out of a civic and say my stang is slow as I start to go by them.LMFAO! I stop the car right then and yell out to them that I had 100 bucks on it right now go get that rice and lets line it up in the parking lot.Needless to say they didnt say crap and just turned around and walked in.Stupid little punks.Well I know what they look like and that rice they drive.Nothing but a civic with a wing bigger than mine.

I finally got around to installing my Drag-N-Link UCA kit in my 88LX this weekend. The rear geometry looks a lot better now, my instant center is back in front of the axle again. I don't think I can make Bithlo Friday, but I will for sure be going Wednesday night for the T&T. Anybody up for Wednesday night? Wednesday tends to be less crowded than Friday too.

As far as a Thursday night club meeting place, what about Chowders? It is right on the water and has outside seating as well. Since it is on US-1 and Suntree it would be easily found and accessable. The food is great there too!

Why would you even care what a Ricer thinks or says?

Chowders would work pretty good for a place to meet. The only thing is parking.

What is going on Wed at the track??

Chowders built a new parking lot on the north side, plenty of room now.

Wednesday night is the regular Test & Tune night at Bithlo. Not as many ricers show up on Wednesday since it is a school night and mommy and daddy want them home early on school nights.

My wife had mentioned TGIF to me too. The parking is usually pretty tight over there though. I've never seen enough room in the lot for a herd of cars to park even remotely close together.

Was up at Ford today to get an estimate on the dent in my car. $723.24!! I'm going by one more shop tomorrow if I have time to get one more estimate. Thought I'd be fair and see what the difference was between Ford and a regular shop.
While I was at Ford, I ran into Neil. Turns out he just traded in his 2001 Explorer on a brand new fully loaded black F-150 Crew Cab.(the one with 4 real doors) It has 4-wheel drive and the Triton V8 in it. It was a very nice truck. I guess it's his new "beater" vehicle.
I also saw they had a Ranger Thunderbolt out front. I saw on TV the Ranger Thunderbolt they tested had the Lightning motor in it, along with the Lightning wheels. Granted it was a prototype and they said it probably wouldn't see production, there it was. Only a couple gripes about it: 1. No Lightning motor. 2. Cheesy 01+ Mustang look a like non functional hood scoop. 3. 15" "sport" wheels 4. An odd body kit.

It's basically a Ranger with dress up items, that's it. Oh and dual polished oval exhaust tips out the back, and T-Bolt badging.
Whoop dee doo.

Hmmm...chowders, I dunno about parking and what not. Are they any cheaper than Hooters? The TGIF idea I like, but as someone mentioned, their parking sucks.

Here's something that we need to think about, though. I know we all complain about the service at Hooters, but think about it...there's 20 of us. This is a lot different than going out to dinner with your significant other or a few friends. To the orginals here, when it was just the few of us meeting at Hooters, service was fine, but the more people that are there, the longer it's going to take to get the food to us. It's not going to change no matter where we go, unless we stick with someplace like Sonics. But this is all just my opinion. Maybe we can find a CiCi's Pizza around here...
