The track is just plain crap.I lost a half a seond and 2 mph. With 3.73 gears and I lose time.Well everyone was doing crap there.I was thinking it was my car but it just seems to damn fast on the street with the new gears.Dan lost a second from his best time to so it must be that crappy place.Well Im not going back again. They raise the damn price and dont do **** for that place.

Hey, I am up for Moroso or maybe even Bradenton. I haven't gone back to Bithlo since it nearly wrecked my car because of the shi++y traction at mid track.

Bradenton has a test-n-tune on Saturday mornings. Moroso has thiers on Friday night, but I heard it is really crowded there.

Where abouts is Brandenton? How far from Melbourne? A Saturday morning run would be GREAT....far less busy I would think.

Moroso has got to be an insanely busy track. I was there for the All-Chevy show last year and it blew my mind.

I would imagine it is farther than Moroso, but I heard it isn't crowded for the T&T mornings.

I dont know bout driving all the way to tampa just to drag race for a day.Brandenton is just south of tampa.
Well my little high rpm power drop off is rearing its ugly head again.Did it to me 5 times today. Now I know it was doing it at orlando last night as well. Its got to be those damn plugs being blown out by the vortech.

My suggestion for that problem: If you can't find plugs that won't be blown out by that Vortech...

Keep your current plugs as your 'street plugs'. You dont need to worry about power loss on the street, you'll never use that much to notice. Buy an extra set of 8 plugs and bring them with you. When you get to the strip, change them out and use them just to drag...when you're done, put the 'street plugs' back in. Yes, it's a ROYAL pain in the ass....but if you can't find a plug that'll stand up to that Vortech beast, that just might be the cheapest solution if you still wanna cut good trap speeds.

Funday Sunday April 6th

Yeah, Bithlo has issues prepping their track. I am still gonna try it out next Sunday April 6th. It is usually prepped better on funday Sundays than on test & tune nights. They prep throughout the day at least. I lnow a guy from Bradenton may be coming over & a guy from Jacksonville as well, possibly even a guy from Gainesville. Anyone here gonna come out? We can meet up in the AM & head out together if so...
:OT: ..just curious, why doesn't anyone put their 1/4 mile times in their sigs on the board? or even their auotX times? again, just curious...
Later!

Speaking of..how DO you put your sig in every post? Mine's not very long or annoying..but I've been trying to figure this out for a year now!! Funday Sunday huh....how much to run? I like the Wednesday and Friday nights because it's only $15...all my broke ass can afford. Although I hear it used to be cheaper. Now $10 to be just a spectator..that IS lame.

I'm planning on going to Bithlo this coming Wednesday to catch their cheap night, and HOPEFULLY I'll be able to hook. Got me some brand new Cooper Cobra ZHP01's and they hook pretty decent for street tires...but I still have to baby it or they'll break six ways to sunday. Damn 4.10's.
