i have daytime pics of the car but they are in my car! you'll be able to see just how dark the tint really is!!!!! back to saving more money!!!

I've been thinking about re-doing the tint on mine. I wonder if John Q. Law hassles many guys around here about their tint... 2% sure does sound nice...

I want a car that's in good condition when I buy it, but I do want to work on it.

As for deciding between AutoXing and Drag Racing, I'm still working on that. The list of cars there I feel are one's that could handle both fairly easily (I know the SVO can do both, at least). Just trying to get a feel for what's out there and what I can do.

The reason I asked about 1/4 or AutoX is the suspension setup.

I know I can adjust my shocks for 1/4 just by making front real soft and rear real tight (no wheel hop) so the weight will transfer better.

Then stiffin up the front and loosen the rear for AutoX.

I asked about the turnkey because so many people usually tear the whole car down and redo it including the engine.

Why not get one that need work and save a couple of thou.

I am one of the stupid ones I pay a fortune for a car then drop another fortune into it.

I had a $900 TurboII and sold it and bought this one for over 7K.
Then dumped a but load of money into it improving it.
Should have done up the $900 car it would have been faster too.


Good luck on your choices. You can still take mine for a spin although its de-tuned right now. I 'll explain my headaches at the AutoX. Nothing ever comes together as planned. I am waiting till after the AutoX to finish my engine upgrades.

BTW - I think I said this already but both cars will be there.

Thanks for all the info, man. See, I'm not too mechanically inclined, so I wouldn't want to buy a something that needs a lot of fixing up, otherwise I'll loose inspiration real fast. I suppose for as long as the engine runs good, I'd be happy. Otherwise, whatever I get, I'm gutting the interior, and replacing everything necessary with lightweight componants. But I got a while to decide.

Have you thought about a fox body? Like a GT/Hatchback/Coupe? Just something else to keep in mind.

My first choice is an SVO. Just trying to make some backups, in case I can't find one when I need it.

I dont know how old you guys are but do you remember William Cruise??? Killed I think 5 cops and a bunch of civillians on a shooting spree in Palm Bay.

Hey guys, remember that idea that we had a couple of months ago, about making a club, but we killed it off? I think we should go back and reconsider doing it again. I mean, baglock1 is starting to make a name for himself at Palm Bay, and once I get a autoX specific car, one that I won't baby, I should start doing well, too (I hope). We do also make up a fair amount of the cars out there. I think its still a cool idea. Anyone else support me on this one?

Yeah, me and a friend went to see a movie in Melbourne and I noticed helicopters in the air and found it unusual(since I wasn't at home, it'd be normal), then I noticed a higher amount of cop cars(once again, normal at my house), then when I got home I found out that some guy was shot and killed behind a Gateway Country(where my friend used to work).

yeah i remember that psycho! im only 19 now but at the time i was in preschool and i still remember not being able to go. and my mom also worked in the same shopping plaza as a travel agent! so she didnt get to go to work that day! he was definatley a loose cannon!!!!!!

yeah thats cool if we want to try and start this again! i was looking at work today and i can get 2 turbos for under 1100 dollars! maybe its time for a twin turbo setup on the little 4 banger!!!! nothing better then the ultimate sleeper car!!!!

Can anyone think of a good name? Maybe not a club, but something Racing. Maybe, Calvary Racing? (horse theme) I dunno, maybe something like that would be cool. Any other ideas?
