BTW, I got the lights today droptop. Thanks!

Update to my last post....looks like I will be out of a car for a couple weeks. Gene took the valve covers off and called me immediately...apparently, my 302 is *****. No wonder it burned a quart per 1000 miles. So I pulled $2200 out of my college money....bought a Ford Racing 302 Short Block...Gene's putting it all together with the reusable parts off my old motor, the new heads, and an E-303.

So now my question is...anyone have reviews or sound clips of an E303?

And my other question...who wants to buy a used B-303??

Who 's all been running in ESP down there? TJ still good, and glenn's giving him a good run is what i here.

Sorry David, I'll be out of town. Work has me so busy I've only made 1-2 events this year.

I have an e-303 in my 302, so ill give you my opinion of it.

its a nice off the shelf cam, and works great with bolt-ons (heads, intake, etc). I can't comment on the gas-milage change from stock (car had the e-cam when I bought it), but I get 19mpg around the city driving it with a kinda heavy foot.

it provides great power from 3000-5500rpm's, after that the power pretty much disapears. And until you get to 3k, the car will act and run stock...after that, it will get up and move.

For a daily driven car, I like the cam alot...for a more track-oriented car, I would go with something alittle more aggressive.

as to sound, its great. definately doesn't sound stock, and has a really nice lope. i have some problems getting mine to idle much below 1k, but i think if i had a alternator worth a ****, and spent alittle more time tinkering with it...i could get it to sit at 850 or so (where it really sounds nice).

I'd like to echo everything droptop93 just said. The E-Cam is really nice. If your going to be out to any of the meets this week, you can hear it.

On a side note, I may be adding another coupe the the stable, I'll keep you guys posted...

Well, I went to go look at the coupe during my lunch break, and bought it! Its a 91 5.0 5spd one owner car! Its completely stock. It needs a few minor things, but for $2600 I think its a damn good deal. The only upgrades it has are some BFGoodrich tires. I'll take pictures later tonight.

I've lost track...is the next MMOB meet THIS week or NEXT week? Don't even remember anymore!

Well I'm still waiting on the car...motor's getting all smacked together now but we're waiting on the heads. The Performer RPM's with the 2.02 intake valves wont clear my pistons...so I ordered the pair with 1.9 intake valves...2 day shipping. Hopefully I'll have the car back by Sunday or Monday and can granny it to the next meet....gotta get those break in miles in. Wish me luck with the new motor! Mmm....I can almost taste the horsepower.

This Is For Ericmess

Erich, how come I hear that you have been talking mad smack about my white hood. Is it your car? No, its mine. If you want to give me some money i'll paint it, but i'll paint it white because thats what color I like it. So why don't you worry about making your TWO-Tone car something that people actually want to look at. You need to stop acting like you like me to my face and stop talking $h!t behind my back, because if you got something to say about my car say it to my face or keep your mouth shut because nobody cares!

As for you thinking you have the fastest car at the wash from what I hear... I think thats funny also, what does it matter? It's not like your actually gonna take that thing to the track and race somebody, so why do you care? Monty would smoke you, not because I think his car is faster, but because I think he's a better driver. Soon he's gonna have some tricks up his sleeve so stay tuned. It's gonna be another one of Adam's Creations!!!
