the wife loves it ive got some ideas in mind like some gears exhaust may be my novi 2000 im not sure yet why did they put 2.73 gears in those cars eric

Probably to up the gas mileage on the highway:shrug: I'm pretty sure the Merc has 2.73's too. It really needs some 3.73's. No one drives the GT now, but me. My wife used to love the Mustang too, but she prefers the Merc, now. Prolly because, the A/C works and it's an automatic. And oh, it's much larger than your average car on the road. And yes, she has used it to intimidate a few econobox drivers, who thought they were on the set of Fast and Furious.

well i got some 3.45s for it today it has the 7.5 so there cheap ! now im looking for stock gt exhaust for it i like driving the truck the 5.4 just pulls ive run a few ricers in it we put the coupe on the frame machine today an the the rear was 1.75 off on one side we fixed that an set the front up with some off set bushing for the rack it tracks much better now dont forget i still got dibbs if you sell the gt that would be sweet to have a gt a v6 now i just need to sell this 92 lx convert.

I won't forget :) It's running pretty decent now, just changed plugs to Autolite 25. I had put Bosch Supers in it before. I really didn't notice a difference with just the plug change. So I put another Accel cap and rotor on it. That made a big difference! I was going to get Blue Streak but I guess they don't make a cap/rotor for my car. I compared the Blue Streak to the Accel and the rotor was quite different. Then again the Accel isn't listed for 94-95 5.0's either:shrug:

92 LX 'vert?

Wow, this thing went to the second page for the first time ever. I guess everyone is using the other board now.

Hey, anyone hear Monty's car now that it has Scotts old cams in it? It sounds wicked. :hail2:

The wife and I just picked up a new (to us) vehicle. Ended up getting a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Got a pretty good deal on it and it's a damn nice vehicle. We've got no complaints, but the first time something does go wrong, you'll be sure to hear me bitchin' about lousy Chyslers. ;)

New suspension for the GTS, new house, new Jeep, sigh.....

Is it a V-8 or I-6? I had the 4.0 I-6 in a Cherokee some years ago, nice strong engine. They do have their issues though. If it's the V-8 you got yourself a good tow vehicle for the GTS. :)

Nope, we got the I6, which by itself is a nice torquey little motor (LOVE them in the wranglers). But this is Jessica's vehicle so towing wasn't a driving factor. Like I mentioned to you before, I'll probably end up getting a 3/4 ton diesel for towing.

On a side note, the first thing I did when got home was rip out the useless rear seat in the GTS. Every little bit helps... especially when I'm going to be tossing a cage eventually.

So you were finally able to get rid of the back seat permanetly, eh? Bout time. I remember Jess was giving you problems about taking it out before. I guess now that she's got a new ride it's not a problem anymore. Did you get rid of your old truck?

Long time, no speak Erich. :flag:

Yep. Seats gone for the most part. It'll get wrapped in plastic and stuffed in the attic. And don't mention the Ranger. Jessica's had that thing forever and she was pretty upset to get rid of it. She likes this Jeep quite a damn bit though. Methinks she'll keep it. ;)

I know. I sorta got bored I guess with Mustangs. So I'm not involved much anymore.

That was a good truck. I figured she would prolly drive it into the ground before getting rid of it.
