tell him to upgrade to a better turbo and intercooler, it's better than try'n to fix the factory turbo.

It's actually a her and she always says the turbo is wasted because she never uses it anyway, so no upgrade is necessary. Besides, we're going to race after I graduate, so no need to give her a better turbo and intercooler before then.

You ca get the turbo Rebuilt by Majestic Turbo. They are very resonable and you can even upgrade the internals for a few more horsies.

They just rebuilt me friends and it works great. I also have a rebuilt one in my garage that is getting installed after the AutoX. I had the internals tweeked so I can achieve 300hp.

So would she take the turbo off and ship it to them or something? Seems like it would be beyond her skill level. Anyplace locally where she can take it?

Your average Local Mechanic should be able to do it. My friend didn't remove/install his he had car back on road in 4 days.

Yes you ship them your turbo and they ship it back.

Ugh, I am tired. I shouldn't have gone to hooters. That was an hours sleep I missed out on. But the waitress was fine as all get out. She was worth it. She would have been worth missing the three hours sleep I did get in exchange for certain nocturnal activities

but it was horrible up in canada .... ... it was ricer heaven or something. everywhere you saw was a crappy riced out crappy car. especially in the wal-mart parking lot. they had like a home depot with a car section with exaust tips and shiney headers it was kinda cute. :o ... not ... Not to mention all the volkswagons they have. :o

but there were a ton of porsche's and bmw's with hella sweet engines. so i guess that made up for some.

then there was a robot there that had a spoiler on the back .... with a cute little white racing stripe. i went up to them and told them that they needed a coffee can for an exaust, and they didn't think i was very funny. Canadians don't have that big of a sense of humor, eh?

Alright, y'all, if anyone is truly interested in trying to name this group we have, spout out some ideas. Too lazy to post mine tonight, but I did think of some today in Sociology class (really boring today for some reason, usually an intersting class.) It's gonna be hard, considering the diversity we have. 4, 8, and rotary engines. I mix of imports and domestics. Fairly difficult to come up with an all encompassing name. I still think Hooters Racing would be cool, forgot to ask about that yesterday. Need to next time.

i would mail them and just ask about using the name for our club and if there was anything they could do to help in anyway! the only thing that worries me is that since it is a corporation probably with a copyright on their name we would end up having to pay to borrow the name for the club! but hey its worth the shot!

I was down at Trick-Pro last week talking to another stanger. He's got a 2000 (or maybe an 01) that's loud as hell (dumps) and runs mid 13's. Him and a couple buddies were going to start a club/team. He was saying that they were thinking about "Domestic Disturbance" when TJ piped up and said, "How about 'Domestic Violence' ?" We had a pretty good laugh over that one.

i like Domestic Disturbance!!!! Domestic Violence could work but were not violent we're just disturbing!!!

when did i say something about imports? either way it would still work even if there were imports in it! domestic disturbance could be just about anything from wife beating to fart cans...both are disturbing in a domestic kinda way.

No, no, no. Those were his names, his ideas. I was just bringing it up for humor value. Personally I think we should find our own idea. And I do believe that have the term domestic in the name would be slightly discriminatory to a certain few RX-7's (if they are even interested). Don't forget, that RX-7 last Sunday beat us all while being in the novice class and I'm pretty sure he'd school us in the 1/4 too. Slightly disheartening but true none the less.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm arguing with some idiots in the 5.0 Talk.
