well sarah michelle geller she is not...but yea i do kinda see a resemblence (sp?). lol but that was pretty funny about that one guy's so called "girl" being from a **** site. :eek:

as to the autox, ive never raced in one, so i wouldnt know what id need, or need to do. but i doubt my brakes are upto autox'ing standards...i have enough fun trying to avoid the *******s who pull out in front of me on the road. :rolleyes: i didnt know they let people ride with you while racing? but that would be pretty cool to ride along with one of you guys who are racing!

since were talking traction...what are some good slicks i can buy? i just lucked out and found a set of 10-holes for $40, but besides some e/t drags, i wouldnt know what to look for? any help would be great.

Looks like droptop unknowingly made the 1K post!!! Ahhhh...this feels good. Our thread is now over a 1K posts long. This is such a great moment for all of us, especially white. Congrats to all involved. :D

A few days ago I had a sore throat and neck, then yesterday I got a fever going as high as 101.5, along with massive headaches and increased neck pain. Also, that night in between, I had cold chills, sweats, and spasims (had sweats last night, too).

As with the jaw, I was the passenger in a car accident several years ago. When the airbag deployed, it hit my chin, throwing my bite pattern off by 1 square mm. That doesn't seem like much, but untreated, within 20 years, all my teeth will be cracked, need fillings, crowns, and root canals. :(

yeah maybe for the first time you should just do a few ride alongs to kinda get a feel for it! thats what i did for like the first 3 autoX's i went to(not to mention i was to big of a baby to race my car). just try and get there around 930-945 that way you can get your braclet thingy and you can do a novice walk through and kinda know whats going on! i think you'll enjoy it!

hey everyone(well actually just Erich and Dan) i finally got the cd's from Jim! its pretty damn cool to see yourself racing! ill be bringing them to hooters with me next thursday for our meeting! hope everyone remembered! he sent me a total of 6 cd's, 3 lower quality ones with a few vids from the last autoX and some other rx-7 ones and getaway in stockholm 1&2. the other 3 cd's are higher quality ones with my run, baglocks run, and jims run! ill have them at hooters! and if anyone else wants a copy let me know and ill copy them!

well i guess i am now an official post ***** like the rest of you? :D well sorry if i stole the 1k post from someone who was trying to get it...like erich said...i didnt have a clue. :eek:

alright, i will more than likely be at the autox...sounds like fun. i think im better at street type racing than drag racing, so eventually after i figure everything out...i wanna give it a try. alrighty well i needa get some sleep, so happy 1k+ posts...talk to youall tomorrow.

the post thingy is no big deal...its not like we're gonna get any kind of recognition for doing it! but oh well.

and about you deciding to come out to the next autoX, thats cool we are all a bunch of laid back guys that just love the adrenaline of getting out there and throwing our cars around! welcome to the group!

hey erich, didnt you say something about another person coming to hooters with us that you had been PMing?? so whats the deal? is it just gonna be the three of us again? i had invited someone else on the boards but he never PMed me back so i guess not! 4 days till boobies, i mean hooters! god i love that place:D :p :D

Yeah, he's never posted here, but he's PMed me and told me he is. 02 Mineral GT, I think. Haven't seen him on the boards much recently, either. Seems like a cool guy, though. I think he'll come. I assume Baglock is comming. I'll prolly invite Brian this time. mfpmax? 1Bad? Any others reporting it?

now that i have gained consciousness back from this weekend, i had a chance to look through all my pics i took friday, i realized that 1.) jason has all the pictures ... 2.) there was nothing but crappy cars there 3.) they were only racing the 1/8 and it had been raining the entire day and 4.) there should be a law against ugly guys driving nice cars ... but anyway ... all the pictures i took were of me and my friend megan and nothing else or wait i got this picture and that's it.
